Presentation 1: The economic contours of climate change
Climate change and efforts to combat it will have an outsized influence on the economic landscape over the next several decades. These forces are set to incrementally lower the rate of economic growth, exert an upward pressure on inflation and possibly raise borrowing costs. In this session we will explore these effects along with those at the sector level, with radical changes in store for fossil fuel producers, utilities, energy-intensive manufacturers and the transportation industry.
