STAMFORD, CT, July 16, 2026 — RBC Global Asset Management (“RBC GAM”) today announced that its BlueBay fixed income team priced a new $400 million European Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO) transaction.
This marks RBC GAM’s 17th new CLO issued since the launch of its BlueBay's CLO management business in 2020 and the 10th European CLO issued by the platform. RBC GAM’s BlueBay leveraged finance and securitized credit platform stands at over $28 billion USD in AUM as of July 2026 and has grown from $8 billion USD pre-Covid).
This new CLO deal attracted strong and diverse institutional investor support.
Established in 2020 by Sid Chhabra, BlueBay Head of Securitized Credit & CLO Management and Euro High Yield at RBC GAM, the BlueBay global CLO platform is part of the BlueBay fixed income franchise, which has a 20+ year history of leveraged loan and high yield investing. Key to its longevity has been leveraging its team of over 40 investment professionals dedicated to high yield and loans, with a focus on active management of the portfolios to improve relative value, generate gains, and respond quickly to exit deteriorating credits.
"We are delighted to announce the pricing of our 10th European CLO marking a significant milestone for our platform, said Mr. Chhabra. “Since launching our CLO management business in 2020, we have built one of the most active CLO franchises globally, and this transaction is a testament to the strength of our team and the confidence our investors place in us. We've seen momentum in both our U.S. and European pipelines and expect to issue additional CLOs in the coming months."
