MINNEAPOLIS, October 21, 2025 – RBC Global Asset Management (U.S.) (“RBC GAM- U.S.”) today announced that its BlueBay Fixed Income investment team priced “BBAM US CLO VI,” its sixth collateralized loan obligation (CLO) on October 17. This $400 million USD deal comprises a diversified pool of loans issued by U.S. corporate borrowers. The transaction was placed with a syndicate of leading international institutional investors.
RBC GAM now manages 13 CLOs across Europe and the U.S.  This recent deal will take the BlueBay Fixed Income investment team’s CLO assets under management (AuM) to $5.8 billion USD and its total loan AuM across both CLOs and funds to over $6.3 billion USD.
RBC GAM’s BlueBay Fixed Income team anticipates pricing approximately four to six more CLOs per year on average across Europe and the U.S. and is aiming to grow from 13 CLOs to over 20 CLOs in the next 12-18 months.  Over the last five years, RBC GAM's BlueBay Leveraged Finance and Securitized Credit business has grown from $10 billion USD to over $26 billion USD in AuM.
“Not only does this new CLO mark an important milestone for our U.S. and European CLO Management program, but it is also a clear reflection of how far we have come as team in building our securitized credit and CLO presence, a key component of RBC BlueBay’s fixed income offering,” said Sid Chhabra, BlueBay Head of Securitized Credit & CLO Management and Euro High Yield at RBC Global Asset Management. “Looking ahead, we have three further CLOs in the pipeline that we expect to issue over the course of the next couple of quarters."
RBC GAM attributes its CLO growth to several elements, including our highly experienced team of 47 investment professionals with average experience of 19 years and the benefits of having our team embedded within the wider global fixed income group.
