David is Head of Mortgage Investments at RBC GAM Inc.. In this role, David leads the overall strategy, growth, and operations of the mortgage investment platform. He is responsible for all aspects of portfolio management across RBC GAM’s mortgage funds, including origination strategy, credit oversight, asset management, and risk governance. Since joining the firm in 2013, David has been instrumental in building and scaling the mortgage investment business. He has led the execution of some of Canada’s most complex real estate finance transactions and has overseen the successful investment of over $20 billion in mortgage assets. With over two decades of experience in real estate finance, David brings deep industry insight and a disciplined investment approach to managing institutional mortgage portfolios. David started his career in the investment industry in 2004.
