Donald is head of US Distribution at RBC GAM. He is responsible for determining the overall strategic direction and providing day-to-day oversight across Institutional Sales, Intermediary Sales, Consultant Relations, Client Management, Institutional Portfolio Managers and Liquidity Management. Prior to taking on this role, he was the head of US Institutional Sales and was responsible for developing institutional relationships and distributing the firm’s investment solutions to corporations, endowments, foundations, healthcare plans and public entities in the Southeast region. Donald is a member of the US Executive Committee and the North America Management Committee and is also registered as an Associated Person and Branch Manager with the National Futures Association. Prior to joining RBC GAM in 2014, Donald was responsible for developing and managing relationships for a major asset management firm’s Institutional Client Business group, where he assisted investors with portfolio allocations across traditional and alternative asset classes. Donald began his career in the financial industry in in 2005.
