Eric is a managing director at RBC GAM and the firm's chief economist, responsible for maintaining the organization’s global economic forecast and generating macroeconomic research. He is also a member of the RBC GAM Investment Strategy Committee, the group responsible for the firm’s global asset mix recommendations. Eric is a frequent media commentator and makes regular presentations both within and outside of RBC. Prior to joining RBC GAM in 2011, Eric spent nearly a decade at TD Securities, rising from economist to the position of chief economist and rates strategist on the firm's trading floor. He started his career in the financial industry in 2001.
