Jay is a managing director and a senior portfolio manager on the PH&N Fixed Income team at RBC Global Asset Management Inc. He co-manages the investment grade credit research effort. Prior to joining the firm in 2009, Jay was with a prominent Canadian asset management firm for eight years, during the last six of which he was a partner. He started as a credit analyst and ultimately earned responsibility for all investment-grade and high-yield investments. His previous experience includes six years at the asset management arm of a major Canadian bank, progressing from mutual fund specialist to investment analyst for the largest bond fund at the time in Canada and co-managing a high yield bond fund. He started his career in the investment industry in 1995.
