Matthew is the Chief Operating Officer of RBC GAM globally and a member of the RBC GAM Leadership Committee. He joined PH&N Institutional in early 2007 as Senior Legal Counsel transitioning to the role of Vice President, Institutional Strategy two years later. In 2015, he was appointed Chief Operating Officer for RBC GAM International in London, UK, returning to North America in 2017 to assume oversight as well for North American operations, finance and technology, and in 2020, for BlueBay’s operations too. Matthew began his career in 2000 as a lawyer at a law firm in Toronto, where he focused on investment funds and business law. In 2002, he joined the asset management division of another major Canadian bank and provided legal counsel to the institutional investment management and mutual fund businesses.
