Russel is a managing director and a BlueBay senior portfolio manager on the BlueBay Fixed Income team at RBC Global Asset Management (UK) Limited focusing on Emerging Markets debt. Prior to joining the firm in 2010 as a portfolio manager, he worked for a decade as a senior fund manager and co-head of Global Alpha (ex U.S.) at a leading asset management firm, where he was responsible for managing multi-currency global fixed income portfolios for retail and institutional clients. Russel previously worked as an investment communications manager at another asset management firm. He started his career in the investment industry in 1999.
