Ryotaro is an analyst on the RBC Asia ex-Japan Equity team. He works closely with portfolio managers to conduct bottom-up research and generate investment ideas. Prior to joining the firm in 2025, he was an equity analyst at Point72 Asset Management in Tokyo, where he completed the one-year Point72 Academy training program and contributed to long/short strategies. He started his career in the investment industry in 2020.
