Slava is a vice president and an institutional portfolio manager at RBC GAM Inc. with expertise across a broad range of investment mandates, including alternatives, equities, and multi-asset solutions. In this capacity, he helps structure and implement investment strategies in institutional client portfolios. Slava is also the co-initiative leader for alternative investments. As part of this role, his responsibilities include leading capability specialist teams for alternative investments as well as driving growth within the asset class among institutional clients and contributing to the development of the broader alternative investment platform firm-wide (working with the firm’s channel and regional partners). Slava joined RBC in 2012 as part of the RBC Wealth Management Generalist Program. Prior to that, he worked in distribution and management roles at asset management firm Invesco Canada. Slava started his career in the investment industry in 2006.
