Inclusive leader awards
Each year Global MindED presents their Inclusive Leader Awards to professionals that are deeply committed to inclusivity and who have made important accomplishments in diversity, equity and inclusion within their respective industries. These awards acknowledge each leader’s actions to promote access and equity for women, people of color, and underrepresented populations in their recruiting and development efforts as they build a better future for the next generation of leaders.2021 award winner

In 2021, Ron Homer was a Global MindED Inclusive Leader Award recipient for Banking & Finance in recognition of his efforts to foster diversity and equality within these industries. Ron is RBC Global Asset Management’s Chief Strategist of U.S. Impact Investing and has over fifty years of experience in the financial services industry. His pioneering vision and accomplishments in impact and community investing coupled with deep seated knowledge acquired over decades have established him as a leader in these fields.
Ron’s depth of experience in banking, finance, and community investing has granted him the opportunity to observe, influence and guide a wide range of initiatives focused on expanding economic opportunities within historically underserved communities. Over several decades and within each of the organizations he was affiliated with, doors were opened that facilitated more people of color to enjoy the benefits of the American dream of wealth, home ownership and income appreciation.
As Ron has worked tirelessly throughout his career to increase access to the resources needed to improve communities, he continues to believe that we can all do better if we share our collective wisdom and resources going forward.
