Melanie is a managing director and head of the RBC GAM Responsible Investment team at RBC GAM. In this role, she leads the team in supporting RBC GAM’s investment teams in integrating environmental, social and governance factors into the investment process, engages in active stewardship and provides meaningful client reporting on responsible investment. Melanie is also a member of the Leadership Committee. She joined RBC GAM in 2014 and has also held roles in Fund Governance and Strategy. Prior to joining the firm, Melanie worked as a senior litigation counsel for another large financial institution, and enforcement counsel with a provincial securities commission. She started her career in the investment industry in 2005.
